Cre8tive Crop Class Layouts

Last Saturday was the Cre8tive Crop - the class involved lots of circles which I punched out in advance... nearly 300 in total!! We had fun making our pages and once again they all turned out very differently despite the same starting point.
First up my page of my eldest who is now 14!

Sue did a page showing her daughter and husband taking out the chimney in their old house.
Bobby did the page above with the interactive element below... hence the go!

Chris' page is a cupcake spectacular and the background paper matched the cake doilies perfectly.

Lesleys page is of her granddaughter
Maureen did this page of her son's cricket team... isn't her little cricket ball great!!

Penny's page is of her two sons... she is doing an album for each of them so she is going to recreate the page a second time!

Sarah used this vintage photo on her page which went surprisingly well with the bright colours.

Cre8tive Kit - April 2012

We are really pleased to announce the launch of our first Cre8tive kit. For just £10 you get enough papers, card and embellishments to complete at least two scrapbook pages and one card. Here is a picture of the contents of the first kit...
Each month I give a kit to Sue Roberts to see what she will come up with and if possible I complete a kit as well for added inspiration. I know a lot of the ladies who bought the kit at our crop wanted me to post pictures of what I did with the kit so below you will find my pages. If you want to buy a kit you can find it here on our website.

The only things I used which weren't in the kits were some stamps (on the first layout and the Happy Birthday card) and the alphabet stickers on the Thanks card, everything else was from the kit.  I still need to add journalling in white pen to the final page. If you have any questions about how I did things please don't hesitate to ask.

Sew Ribbon

I have had the Sew Ribbon in the shop for a little while and thought they looked good but not seen them in use until this weekend. They look amazing when used in real life. Amanda did the beautiful page below using some Prima papers and flowers and some lovely punched elements. The Sew Ribbon was used to make the holes for the ribbon threaded across the page. Lovely :)

Salisbury Crop

I have a lovely time the weekend before last at a crop I haven't visited before in Salisbury. I taught a class I have done previously but as none of the ladies had seen it before I was able to do it again. I love it when ladies make a class their own and they all did.
Teresa did this lovely page with a stunning photo of her granddaughter. I love the birds she added and if you look closely her flowers are shaped at the bottom.

Penny did this page from a missionary trip she went on. I love the fact that the paint on the house matches the paper.

Jo did her page about her trip to Eurodisney. I love the cute mickey ears on her 'e'.

Janice wanted to add two photos to her page so she switched things around a bit more.
And Dawn needed to make a card for her mum for Mothers Day so she used her kit completely differently!
