I hope you like our page. It is inspired by a page in Scrap 365 and a kit is available online
here with not only the papers used for this page but also the rest of the Albert and Victoria pack (9 double sided papers and an accessory sheet), bakers twine, a Basic Grey alphabet sheet and eyelets to complete your page.

Ok so on to the page....
1.
Cut the grey and white dandelion paper (Wishing Flowers) to 10 ¼ ”
x 10 ¼”
2.
Stick centrally onto the black 12”x12” card
3.
Using a white pen add doodling around this as a
frame. This could be faux stitching, swirls, zigzags or in my example I did a
small burst which resembled a little the dandelions

Set your compasses to 3.5” and draw a circle on
the Golden Damask paper (the circle will have a diameter of 7”). Draw the
circle near to the edges of the paper so you have plenty of spares left for
another page.

Draw a grid of squares measuring 1 ¼”x1 ¼” on
scrap paper as below. Use this as a guide to mark where your eyelets will go on your circle. Make
holes and set 3/16” eyelets .There should be one eyelet in each corner.
6.
Taking a length of bakers twine use some tape
wrapped around the end to make a needle. Fix the other end of the twine to the
rear of the circle and then thread the twine in and out of the eyelets until
you have twine on all the straight lines as above. Again fix the end to the
rear of the circle when finished.
7.
To make the box pleat around your circle you
will need at least four 12” lengths of the dark grey paper (rearof the Black Damask paper). If you want to go
around the entire circle you will need approximately 5 ¼ lengths but as some is
hidden behind the photos you only need to do 4 lengths.
8.
Cut four 12” by 1 ¼” strips. Use the Fiskars
Threading Water punch to create a decorative edge.
9.
To fold the strips you can use the scallops in
the punched design as your guide.
Step 1 – Fold the first scallop
forward
Step 2 – Fold the second scallop
back
Step 3 – The next fold is after
two more scallops and goes backwards
Step 4 – The fourth fold is
folding one scallop forward
Step 5 – Two scallops and fold forward
Step 6 – Once you have finished
folding one strip you start the next strip so that it can join onto the end of
the previous strip and keep the pattern going so the first scallop on the new
strip will repeat the last scallop on the previous strip. Add glue to the back
of the overlapping scallop and stick together.
Step 7 – Repeat until you have
all 4 strips joined
10.
On the back of your circle put a good width of
double sided tape around the edge roughly working out how much of the circle
will have the box pleat around it.
11.
Stick the box pleat to the rear of the circle
gradually bending it around so that it follows the shape of the circle. I do
this with the circle right side up so I can see what it will look like as I go.
It is a bit more tricky than having the circle right side down on the table
with the tape facing up but as I say you can see what it will look like better.
12.
Stick your circle to the top left of the page
with the area with no pleat at the bottom right so it will be hidden by the
photos.
13.
Add photos using 3D foam squares.
14.
Add die cut shapes from the paper pack to the
bottom right of the page adding a date and bakers twine to the little tag.
15.
Add your title passing some letters underneath
the bakers twine and adding 3D foam squares under some.
Sit back and admire your finished page… and
then have a look at all the papers left and decide what you are going to make
next!!
