Cre8tive Kit 4

The latest Cre8tive kit is now available online here.

As always Sue has made some lovely pages from the kit and I have made some too. I hope you like them and they give you some inspiration. Please do ask if you have any questions about the pages or the kits.
Sue loves stitching on her pages (all three pages from this kit have stitching) but I especially like her glittery spiders web
This is my favourite page of Sue's. I love the simplicity with the white background and the black and white photo but the photo with Sophia looking down towards the flourish works really well too. Oh and what a clever way to use one of the Barn Door die cuts as an oversized photo corner!
And here is Sue's third page with an absolutely stunning sunset photo. Can you see the glitter on the patterned paper behind the photo - lovely!
For my first page I was really pleased to find these photos with the colours that matched the papers so well. The flourishes above and below the photos in purple are stamped and the white detail is added with a pen.
This page shows a GeoCache we found on a day out near us, well hidden in a tree. The plastic hand is lifesize so not very big! I wanted to add some journalling to explain about the difficulty we had finding it so I wrote around the edge. See the photo below for a close up.
And finally I used the circle on the photo to help me design this page. Some of the circles are punched from the patterned papers and others are made from the Barn Door die cuts. Some are stuck directly to the page and others are on 3D foam to give the page some dimension. The title is from a story tape that my kids loved when they were younger. Again I did some stamping and added white pen (see below) but I also carried on the faux stitching theme around the title and the circles to tie it all together.

September 2012 Cre8tive Crop Class

We had a lovely day at the crop on Saturday. Everything seemed to go remarkably smoothly, so much so that I spent a lot of the afternoon chatting which doesn't usually happen! It was great to catch up with everyone.

As always I have take photos of the class pages so you can see the same page with different photos and different twists as people make it their own. So first up here is my page and the starting point for the ladies.
Next is Debs page. She chose to ink around her strips which really made them stand out.
Lesley made this page with a photo of her two granddaughters, the black and white is great as it goes with anything.
Maureen had a landscape photo so she changed her page around a bit. She also added red Liquid Pearls rather than the white I used
Pat usually sneaks off before I manage to photo her pages but not this time!
I just love this photo of Penny, so great... can you guess what job her dad did?
Sheila hasn't done scrapping for a while so this was her first page for a few years. I hope she was pleased.
Su chose this photo of her daughter because the sneak peek I sent through had the stripes on it. She added some ribbon to make the page her own. Notice also how she drew around the title to make it stand out more.
I have just one class kit left so if you would like it get in touch.
